Open Question: Why would someone buy the 3g iphone over the original 2g iphone? ?
Yahoo! Answers: Search forOk, the obvious answer is speed. It’s 3g man!! But this is the same 3g phone that has been having serious reception problems. The 3g is encased in plastic as opposed to aluminum and it’s $15 per month more. I just bought a 2g iphone for $275.00 and there is no way, the speed benefits of the 3g outweigh the additional $180.00 per year fees, the cheap plastic casing that you can’t insure, and the lack of reception and dropped calls the 3g has. How much time does one spend surfing the internet on their cell phone anyhow? I just don’t get this one. Reminds me of the old saying selling ice to Eskimos.
